Introducing my new Brother-In-Arms, or the Arms itself if you will: The Nikon D80.
A 18-200mm Nikkor VRII will arrive shortly, but right now I will own everything I see with the humble 18-55mm Nikkor.

And here's my first solo run at The Merlion and Esplanade, all with HDRi.

Well I don't care if these perspective are taken to death by people around the world and stock photographers, it my first run and its my party. Apparently HDRi night shots are pretty challenging, not to mention some occasional boats wandering around. But thats the spice of life. Dig in.

Glass Ball

Happiness is like a glass ball. It's there... only that many of us can't see it and therefore deny its presence. When happiness is shattered... it's broken into infinite small pieces... there for you to pick them up. You can pick as many pieces as you want... as long as you're not frightened of cutting yourself. Sadly... it is not possible to pick everything up again... to get the same glass ball again. But who said you can't make a more beautiful figurine out of it?

The big prawn noodles at the kopitiam near bras basah very good!! captured some picture from the store. So if anyone wants good and unique prawn noodles please go to that stall, sure will enjoy one!!

Esplanade Run-Outs

My dad booked a hotel in Raffles The Plaza, and so I got to shoot from the hotel. Also an upclose for the ndp stage scene at Esplanade.

Familiar huh. A night version. Not much change.

A not so often but interesting reunion of 3 old friends. Catch Cheryl at her most un-glam moments. The pictures are all with me =)

And so I return to blogging to such a remarkable hiatus. All credits to Liu Yuan (harrow *wave*) recommending www.blogskins.com, starting me on blogskin making. Flautosomic is my first, ripped off from Drogue's This Other Eden's codes, but I guess thats ok for a start. Took me 2 days to make this from scratch!! Without the coding that is =)

Genesis

I have ORDed.

It is now a new phase in my life. Free from everything. Burdened by everything else. It will certainly be fun. There is much work to be done.

On a side note, I met up with Xinyi, Prisca and Cedric at Prisca's student restaurant. And studently operated, it was. But still fair. Chocolate tart. Sirloin Syndrome.

1.) Chocolate Tart - The definitive desert to induce the oxymoronic situation of hot and cold together, black and white, and to not know whether to love or hate it. Talk of my day.

2.) Sirloin Syndome - To be dissappointed by something that you want badly but unable to acquire, and then realising someone else did acquire it from that same source when it was technically impossible given the context. A remarkably interesting and repetitive expression will soon follow, as depicted by Xinyi.
